Yes, I have gotten hnedruds of emails similar to this. Mark them as spam and don't open them, you could put your PC at risk to do so. They are not from yahoo, though they may superimpose yahoo's name in the from line. Free yahoo doesn't filter your mail like the paid for version does. It does put spam in your bulk folder and that is about it. Never ever open or respond to any kind of a lottery email, especially one from a foreign country, they are all scams designed to get your personal info to steal from you. If you aren't sure, then avoid it just the same, not worth the consequences. If you do not recognize the sender as one of your friends or something you signed up for, don't touch it period. All that free stuff is nothing but scams. Even if they can't get into your bank account, if you use your email in them you will get junk mail than you ever imagined and will have to unsubsribe to them in at least two places per email for a month to cut them down to manageable. The ones from official websites can be unsubscribed and stopped, the foreign lotterys and free porns will not have unsubscribe links and are best no opened, you will be able to tell the difference most of the time after you mess w/ them for a bit. You will never get rid of them all the way unless you just make a new address and are very careful about where you use it, very careful.
